Welcome to the page of the unofficial UNC LETTUCE CLUB!

You may be scratching you head wondering what the lettuce club is. Lettuce explain...

The lettuce club meets once a year. During the meeting everyone in the club has an hour to eat an entire head of lettuce. ROMAIN CALM, you won't be kicked out of the club if you fail to finish the lettuce in the hour. Ranch is allowed, but you have to provide it for yourself. Only those who participate in the lettuce eating will be considered honorary leaflets and members of the club. The first person who finishes their lettuce (excluding the white stumpy part at the bottom, of course), is given the title of the "Head Lechuga" and runs the meeting for the next year.

The Head Lechuga is also responsible for choosing the brand and type of lettuce that will be consumed at the meeting. The club operates on a BYOL (bring your own lettuce) basis. Those who bring the incorrect type of lettuce may still participate but will not be able to compete for the Head Lechuga position.

Please submit your name and email so we can keep you updated and you don't miss out on the meeting! We won't spam you, we promise to leaf you alone.
